Brian Jones is well known for his role as a finalist in series 2 of Dancing With the Stars, partnering and choreographing for Beatrice Faumuina. His choreography and performance style showed innovation and artistry that wowed the viewers and developed a broad admiring following outside and inside the dance sector since. Brian has continued his association with Dancing With the Stars working as the Dance Producer for series 6.

Brian is fully experienced in many areas of performance, from cabaret, to competition, theatre, TV and film. His main interest is in teaching and promoting dance in its various levels and forms. Since finishing the series Brian has been developing dance for practical team building. Recently working with Active Waitakere′s, Te Waka ki Mua Move It Waitakere programme teaching social dance along with Beatrice. Brian is available for functions and can lead sessions in motivation and team building using dance as a tool. He has vast experience in designing workshops and performance events.

In addition to all this he has choreographed and taught couples for their first dance for their weddings, including many celebrity couples. Working with TV3 and MoreFM on ‘The Big Night In’ Telethon (2009), Brian travelled as choreographer through the country along with Suzanne Lynch and Mark Dennison auditioning and workshopping with contestants for ‘The Big Audition’.

Brian has choreographed and danced for the Candy Lane Dancers, has choreographed and danced for the Warriors Vodaforce Dancers, adjudicated for New Zealand Ballroom and New Vogue competitions and has represented New Zealand internationally. Most recently he has been invited to run workshops on choreography and performance for DANZ, the New Zealand National Dance Industry Organisation and has developed training resources in best practice for the industry.
